Unprecedented times often call for extraordinary actions, and your YMCA has prepared to respond to the changing times and community needs in transformative ways.

As we reopen the facility the Y wants to ensure that our approach is thoughtful, safe and evolving and plans to reopen slowly. This means that there will be some changes to policy, procedure, equipment availability, program availability and more.

Staff Responsibility

While the Y asks each member to be responsible while using its facilities the Y will heighten its cleaning routine in all departments. Staff will be required to clean high touch and high traffic areas more frequently and with proper chemicals.

All staff in direct contact with members will also be required to wear PPE such as masks and gloves. Staff will be trained in best practices regarding the use and disposal of gloves and masks.

While our staff loves nothing more than to interact with our members on a personal level, we are asking our staff to remain in their prospective areas and offices during this time. Please do not be offended if we refrain from physical contact.

As we move forward it is the Y's goal to communicate all plans with its members. Our plan is a work in progress and is subject to change at any time based on a number of factors. To ensure you receive the most up-to-date information remember to LIKE US ON FACEBOOK, Instagram and Twitter.
