Chopped & Orchestrated is a one-night-only musical experience hosted by the YMCA of San Angelo. Featuring a full collaborative orchestra and hip-hop legend Paul Wall, the event fuses orchestral elegance with modern rhythm to create a genre-defying performance unlike anything our community has seen.
This event is part of the YMCA’s 175th Anniversary “No Place Like This Place” campaign, celebrating the Y as a space where people from all walks of life come together around shared purpose.
At the YMCA, camaraderie forms when unlikely people share a space and a purpose.
Chopped & Orchestrated embodies this spirit — bringing together classical musicians and hip-hop artists, longtime symphony patrons and first-time concertgoers, community partners and families — all united by a commitment to kids.
